Major General (Retired) Barbara Faulkenberry leads the NACD Colorado Chapter as Chair & President. She has served as an independent director on three public company boards: Callon Petroleum (NYSE: CPE), USA Truck Inc. (NASDAQ: USAK), and Target Hospitality (NASDAQ: TH),  Barbara has chaired the Nomination & ESG Committee, the Strategy & Risk Committee, and the Technology Committee, and served on all other committees of the board.  Barbara retired from the US Air Force in 2014 as a 2-star general where she had responsibility for the command’s 1,100 aircraft and 37,000 people with a worldwide mission of providing rapid global mobility for US armed forces through airlift, aerial refueling, and aeromedical evacuation. She is NACD Board Certified, a Leadership Fellow, holds the NACD/Carnegie Mellon University Cybersecurity Oversight Certificate and the Digital Director's Qualified Technical Expert designation. Barbara graduated of the US Air Force Academy with an undergraduate degree in operations research, and she holds an MBA from Georgia College and a master's of national security from the National War College. She’s also taken leadership courses at Syracuse, Harvard, and Cambridge.
