

Paul Minton
Director
Paul Minton was elected Executive Chairman of California Eastern Laboratories (CEL) in February 2024. He had joined CEL’s Board of Directors in 2001 and served as President and CEO from 2003 until his recent appointment as Executive Chairman. During Paul’s term as CEO, the company achieved a 14% compound average annual return to shareholders. He currently chairs the Nominating Committee and is a member of both the Audit and Executive Compensation Committees.
Paul also serves as Chairman of TDIndustries (TD), a role he has held since 2016. He joined TD’s Board of Directors in 2014. At TD, he has been a member of the Nominations and Governance, Audit and Compensation Committees.
Both CEL and TD are 100% owned by current and former employees through S corporation ESOPs. Before joining CEL, Paul spent ten years consulting on business strategy. Prior to that, he was a co-founder of two technology companies.
Paul’s community service includes promoting entrepreneurship in emerging economies through Stanford Business School’s Seed program and protecting habitat for keystone species in the Rocky Mountains in collaboration with The Nature Conservancy.
In addition, Paul has been a Trustee of The Conference Board’s Committee for Economic Development (CED) since 2022. He serves on CED’s Education, Geoeconomics, and Technology Committees.
Paul earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Maryland and his masters at Stanford University.
