Hilarie Bass

Hilarie Bass is an experienced executive and director.  As Co-President of a global top 10 law firm, she oversaw strategy for more than 2000 attorneys and 40 international offices, during a period of global expansion and intense growth of professionals. 

Hilarie currently serves on a number of profit and non-profit Boards, including UHealth, Dolphin Entertainment, the American Bar Retirement Fund and the American Bar Endowment. She currently Chairs the Center for Practice Innovation and serves as a Special Advisor to the Rule of Law Initiative, which operates programs in more then 40 countries. She is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Law where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.

During her decades as trial lawyer, she Chaired for more then 8 years a 600 member Litigation department and was tapped to be a member of the America College of Trial Lawyers. Her specialty as a trial lawyer was the defense of large corporations involved in business disputes, including leadership roles in some of the largest multi-district litigation in the country. She also served as President of the American Bar Association, the world’s largest voluntary professional association, during the years of 2017-18 and as Chair of the University of Miami Board of Trustees between 2019-2021.

She is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Law where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.
