John Driver is an independent director at Vital Energy Inc. and Broadway Financial Corporation and its subsidiary, City First Bank NA. He holds he NACD.DC^® and the CERT Certificate in Cyber-Risk Oversight. He is a director at 50/50 Women on Boards and chair of the nominating & governance committee roundtable of the NACD Pacific Southwest Chapter. Currently, he leads Lynx Technology. Previously, he was COO and chief marketing officer of PacketVideo. Driver was senior director of Global Field Marketing for Serena Software and corporate leader of Sun Microsystems' Global Mid-Market Strategy. Driver is an honorary trustee and former chair of the Fleet Science Center, former chair of the Stanford Associates Board of Governors, and board member and marketing chair of the San Diego YMCA Overnight Camps. He is a recipient of a Director of the Year Award (2024) from the Corporate Directors Forum and a Stanford University Governor’s Award.
