

Liane Pelletier

Liane Pelletier is a former public company CEO and chair, with a 25-year operating career in telecommunications. Since late 2011, she has been a full-time independent corporate director across a variety of industries.
Pelletier has occupied every seat at the corporate boardroom table, including public company CEO, executive chair, nonexecutive chair, lead independent director, and either chair or member of audit, compensation, and nominating and governance committees. In addition to standing committees, she has been frequently tapped for ad hoc committees on strategic transactions, CEO succession, and enterprise risk, and she brings extensive board experience in cybersecurity oversight, shareholder engagement, digital transformation, and operating in highly regulated industries, including global. Her industry expertise spans telecom, data centers, consumer services, logistics, banking, and food.
She is an NACD Board Leadership Fellow and invests significantly in continuous education on governance and technology topics. She has earned the CERT Certificate in Cyber-Risk Oversight from NACD and the Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie Mellon University.
Her current board work includes: chair of the nominating and corporate governance committee at Expeditors International (NYSE: EXPD), an approximately $16 billion market cap global-logistics company, and member of the audit and compensation committees at Frontdoor (Nasdaq: FTDR), a more than $4 billion market cap tech-enabled home-services company spun out of ServiceMaster in October 2018. Her prior corporate board work spans several industries: data centers (public: Switch Inc., sold to DigitalBridge); semiconductor (public: WJ Communications Inc., now part of Qorvo), banking (public: Washington Federal Bank), telecoms (public: Alaska Communications Systems Group and ATN International), and food (private: Icicle Seafoods, now part of Cooke Aquaculture). Her significant prior nonprofit board work includes serving with the NACD Northwest Chapter and as a trustee of the Alaska chapter of The Nature Conservancy and Alaska Pacific University.
