Jeannine Strandjord retired from Sprint Corporation at the end of 2005 as the Chief Integration Officer managing the successful transformation of Sprint from a product-centric to a customer-centric operating model assuring economic value creation through fully aligned organization development and process redesign.
Prior to this she held senior positions in Finance including CFO for Global Markets Group ($9B Division), SVP of Financial Services, Treasurer and Controller for the Corporation. Before Sprint, there were financial positions with RH Macy’s, Kansas City Power & Light Company and Ernst & Whinney.
Subsequently, she has worked on several Corporate boards: Euronet Worldwide, MGP Ingredients, DST Systems, American Century Mutual Funds Board, Charming Shoppes and JE Dunn Construction Company.
Non-profit boards include the Ewing Kauffman Foundation, Truman Library Institute, World War I, Greater KC Community Foundation and the KU Academic Medical Center Advancement Board.
Awards: Received the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) 2018 National Director of the Year Award.
Memberships include Women of Influence, International Women’s Forum, NACD where she was Chairman twice of the Heartland Chapter, Women Corporate Directors, Mutual Investors Club. She spent multiple years as a Judge for Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
Graduated from Kansas University, is a CPA and has one daughter.
