Rima Qureshi is an active board member and seasoned C-suite executive with a distinguished career in the mobile and tech industries. Qureshi is a director of Mastercard Inc. In her most recent position, Qureshi was chief strategy officer at Verizon, where she oversaw mergers and acquisitions, corporate strategy, strategy execution and governance, and new business incubation. She also served as interim chief marketing officer. Qureshi held multiple leadership roles in the United States, Canada, and Sweden during her tenure at Ericsson, serving as CEO North America, chief strategy officer in Sweden, and head of Business Unit CDMA in Canada, where she managed Ericsson’s acquisition of Nortel Networks. As a result of her significant accomplishments and decades of experience, Qureshi received the 2024 Outstanding Contribution to the Mobile Industry Chairman’s Award from GSMA. Qureshi serves as a commissioner on the 2024 NACD Blue Ribbon Commission on Board Oversight of Technology.
