Susan Paley is an executive leadership coach, NACD advisor, and the former vice president of the NACD Chapter Network. Before joining NACD, Paley was a television producer and scriptwriter for the BBC, Discovery Channel, and C-SPAN. She is the founder of Bright Spots Coaching. As an NACD vice president, Paley guided and equipped senior executives and board leaders to elevate their expertise and best position themselves and the enterprises they serve for success. As an NACD advisor, Paley authors magazine articles, speaks on a variety of board-related topics, and hosts NACD’s podcast, BoardVision™. Paley has coached clients ranging from Fortune 50 executives to one of Hollywood's most innovative directors. She builds and facilitates workshops on a range of topics including executive presence and the magic of imperfection. She is certified by the International Coaching Federation, earned the NACD Board Leadership Fellowship, and is a member of the International Women’s Forum.
