Matthew Sunseri is an accomplished board director and former chief executive with over four decades of leadership experience in the electric utility and nuclear energy sectors. A recognized authority in strategic performance alignment, corporate governance, and organizational culture transformation, Sunseri brings proven oversight and advisory expertise to both corporate and nonprofit boards.

Sunseri is the founder of Zeus Enterprises LLC, where he advises organizations on enhancing strategic execution and operational excellence. His work has helped companies achieve competitive advantages, earn new business, and cultivate high-performance cultures aligned with mission-driven goals. In 2024, he was named a fellow of the American Nuclear Society—its highest honor—in recognition of his lifetime contributions to the advancement of nuclear energy.

Previously, Sunseri served as CEO of Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corp. Under his leadership, the organization earned top-tier recognition from regulatory bodies by fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. He led global collaborations through the World Association of Nuclear Operators, strengthening international best practices in nuclear safety and performance.

Sunseri holds a bachelor of science in nuclear engineering from Texas A&M University and is a licensed professional engineer in Texas. He is also NACD Directorship Certified®.
