The Climate Book by Greta Thunberg; not because I agree with it all, but it will be a new classic for the Millennials interested in climate and the environment

If you could give yourself advice on your first day as a board member, what would it be?
Find the unmet needs of the board and then dedicate yourself to filling those needs
What's the most memorable trip you've ever taken?
Family trip on mules to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and staying at Phantom Ranch. I have also been assigned in Europe 4 times with the military and our happy place is Muerren, Switzerland!
From your perspective, what are some key traits that the most effective board members possess?
Intellectual curiosity, being a life long learner and practicality
If you could instantly become an expert in any skill or subject, what would it be?
Privacy and cyber security for professional development, mountaineering for fun
What's the best piece of advice you've ever received?
Keep the end in mind
What's the most interesting or unusual job you've ever had?
My jobs during 30 plus years in military
If you could have dinner with any historical figure, who would it be and why?
Pontius Pilate because he was a military judge (I was one in the military) who made one of most impactful rulings in history
What's your favorite way to relax and unwind?
CrossFit with my son, tennis with my daughter, and date night with my wife, but not all on the same day!
